With a playoff win on the line, Carlmont rose to the challenge on Saturday. They secured a 66-62 W over the Palo Alto Vikings. Winning may never get old, but the Scots sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Palo Alto lost, don't look at Jorell Clark. Despite the final result, he posted 34 points along with seven boards and three steals. That was a full 54.8% of Palo Alto's points, marking the fifth time in a row Clark has put up more than a third of the team's points. Gavin Haase was another key player, putting up seven points.

Carlmont's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Palo Alto, they moved to 22-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Carlmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-49 win against El Capitan on the 4th. As for Palo Alto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 61-51 victory against Foothill on the 4th.
