After four games on the road, Tenino is heading back home. They will take on the Eatonville Cruisers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tenino is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Eatonville in Washington (Tenino is ranked 92nd, while Eatonville is ranked 252nd).
On Wednesday, Tenino didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hoquiam, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win.
Meanwhile, Eatonville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Montesano.
Despite their defeat, Eatonville saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Hunter Klumpar, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and five steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Griffin Clevenger, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Tenino is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Eatonville, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Everything went Tenino's way against Eatonville when the teams last played on January 9th as Tenino made off with a 75-54 victory. Does Tenino have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eatonville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
