Golden West has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against The Kerman Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Golden West was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 21-10 win over El Diamante. The victory was just what Golden West needed coming off of a 35-7 loss in their prior contest.

Meanwhile, Kerman can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 28-6 margin over Washington Union. The win was familiar territory for Kerman who now have three in a row.
Kerman's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Molina led the charge by rushing for 16 yards and a touchdown, while also catching a touchdown. Adrian Torres was another key contributor, throwing for 228 yards and two touchdowns.
Golden West's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Kerman, their win bumped their record up to 5-5.
Golden West took their victory against Kerman in their previous matchup back in November of 2018 by a conclusive 51-30. Will Golden West repeat their success, or does Kerman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
