The West Feliciana Saints will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Tara Trojans at 6:00 p.m. West Feliciana is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Last Tuesday, West Feliciana didn't have too much breathing room in their match against McKinley, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory.
Tara suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Plaquemine, falling 64-21. Tara was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.
West Feliciana's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Tara, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
Everything came up roses for West Feliciana against Tara in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 46-7 victory. Will West Feliciana repeat their success, or does Tara have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
