The Fowlerville Gladiators were the 79-42 winner over the Durand Railroaders when they last played one another back in February of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Fowlerville lost to Durand on the road by a decisive 76-58 margin on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Markell Tate continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Durand, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Tate is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Brayden Kelley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Fowlerville's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Durand, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Fowlerville will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Johns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Durand, they will head out on the road to square off against Chesaning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Chesaning sitting on ten straight victories and Durand on three.
