After a disappointing 6 points in the contest before, Lincoln made sure to put some points up on the board against Sioux City North on Friday. Lincoln were fully in charge, breezing past Sioux City North 61-21. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Lincoln's flat performance the matchup before.
Lincoln started the game off right with 34 first-half points. Sioux City North came up with 7 to make it 34-7 heading into the break. The Lincoln defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped Lincoln's record up to 3-2. The loss dropped Sioux City North's record to 1-4.
Next week Lincoln take on Dowling Catholic at 7:00 PM. The teams have set a high bar for this match after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests. As for Sioux City North, they will face off against Sioux City East.
