Braydon Ortiz Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, Las Animas got the W thanks in part to Braydon Ortiz playing the best football he has all season. Ortiz rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He is becoming a predictor of Las Animas' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Ortiz and Las Animas will take on Swink at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Ortiz up against the Lions' star quarterback Luke Hanagan. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.
