Augusta Prep Day lost to Briarwood Academy back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. Boxton wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Augusta Prep Day was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Briarwood Academy only racked up four assists.
Despite the loss, Briarwood Academy still got an impressive performance from Sam Mock, who posted 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Aiden Adler also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
The victory made it two in a row for Augusta Prep Day and bumps their season record up to 10-6. As for Briarwood Academy, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-3.
