Powers Catholic extended the longest winning streak in Saginaw Valley - South this week by beating Davison, 42-28. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Chargers.
Carman-Ainsworth led the league in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Northwestern.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Powers Catholic and the Cavaliers. The Chargers enters the game ranked 14th in the state, while Carman-Ainsworth ranks 23rd.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Powers Catholic takes on the Cavaliers. The Chargers have allowed 79 points this season, while Carman-Ainsworth has given up 27. Powers Catholic allowed 28 points last week as it bested the Cardinals.
