The Pinnacle Pioneers had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They came out on top against O'Connor by a score of 59-49. That's another feather in the cap for Pinnacle, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Norah Moo continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 19 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 14 or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Dean, who scored ten points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Despite the loss, O'Connor still got an impressive performance from Thalia Daniels, who scored 20 points. Audrey Bhesania was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Pinnacle's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for O'Connor, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
Pinnacle will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boulder Creek is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for O'Connor, they will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
