Audrey Waddell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Ashlyn Tucker was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mattie Southard, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
