Skyline has gone a perfect 10-0 against Dobson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Coyotes will host the Mustangs at 3:45 p.m. Skyline's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Dobson's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Skyline and Mesa had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Jackrabbits on Thursday. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Jackrabbits recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Chase Gillmore was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Gillmore was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Dobson fell victim to Westwood and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Skyline's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Coyotes have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Dobson, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Skyline continue to outrun the ball?
Skyline got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Dobson by a conclusive 12-2 score. Do the Coyotes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
