They took their game on the road on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 79-35 victory over Springfield Southeast. Peoria's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Springfield Southeast lost, one person who can't be blamed is Marisa Gant. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Gant scored a full 34.3% of Springfield Southeast's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Peoria's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Springfield Southeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
