A well-balanced attack led Forestburg over Gold-Burg in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Forestburg Longhorns blew the Gold-Burg Bears out of the water with a 73-30 final score. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Forestburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jesus Sanchez, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Wadsworth, who had 15 points.

Forestburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points over those games. As for Gold-Burg, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forestburg will venture away from home to face off against Prairie Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forestburg is facing Prairie Valley at the right time seeing as Prairie Valley is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Gold-Burg, they will head out to take on Bellevue at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
