After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harlem, Westmont was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Northtown Pumas 18-3. The Sentinels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.
Westmont got a massive performance out of Rocco Damato, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Nikolai Baldwin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Westmont now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Northtown, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Looking ahead, Westmont will challenge Lincoln Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northtown, they will take on Cristo Rey Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
