Meanwhile, Fort Bend Bush had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 50-38 victory over Fort Bend Elkins.
Fort Bend Clements' loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Fort Bend Bush, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.
Fort Bend Clements was taken down by Fort Bend Bush 68-26 in their previous meeting back in February. Can Fort Bend Clements avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
