The Logos Prep Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 96-40 defeat at the hands of St. Thomas Episcopal. Logos Prep Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 61-20.
Leading St. Thomas Episcopal to victory were Noah Ritchards and Nathan Law. Ritchards dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Law dropped a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ritchards has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Gichana, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Logos Prep Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15. As for St. Thomas Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logos Prep Academy will take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Thomas Episcopal, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Legacy Prep Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Saints are ranked 133rd).
