Seton Catholic entered their tilt with ALA - Ironwood on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Warriors get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Sentinels, who have now won 12 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Brooke Zuluaga was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, seven RBI, and four runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Scarlett Olivares, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Eva Lopez, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Seton Catholic's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for ALA - Ironwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 5-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic will host Coolidge at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.94 runs per game on average), something the Sentinels will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for ALA - Ironwood, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Gilbert Christian at 3:45 p.m. The Warriors are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
