Beaver has gone a perfect 5-0 against Parowan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on the 31st. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:00 p.m. Beaver will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Beaver against Enterprise as the squad secured a 55-20 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Beavers had established a 28-point advantage.
It was another big night for Davin Orton, who rushed for 104 yards, and also threw for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Beaver was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 407 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Maverick Albrecht, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Parowan, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Everything went their way against North Sevier on Friday as they made off with a 42-20 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their seven-point performance the contest before.
Beaver better keep an eye on Tyrel Vest. He was instrumental in Parowan's win, rushing for 162 yards and four scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Those 162 rushing yards gave Vest a new career-high.
Beaver's record now sits at 8-2. As for Parowan, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-6.
Everything came up roses for Beaver against Parowan in their previous meeting on October 3rd, as the team secured a 55-14 victory. In that matchup, the Beavers amassed a halftime lead of 28-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on the 31st.
