Archbishop Rummel pushed their score to four the last time they played Riverdale, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The Archbishop Rummel Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Riverdale Rebels. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Archbishop Rummel is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7-4 record this season. As for Riverdale, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-5.

Archbishop Rummel will face off against East St. John at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverdale, they will take on Holy Cross at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
