In what's become a running theme this season, the Carbon Hill Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on Dora with a sharp 63-38 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Carbon Hill who now have six in a row.
Despite the defeat, Dora saw an underclassman step up: Maddix Harrison scored six points.
Carbon Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Dora, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Carbon Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Fayette County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fayette County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Carbon Hill is ranked 103rd). Dora will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Fultondale at 1:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Fultondale has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 262 points over their last four contests.
