The Toll Gate Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They strolled past Mt. Hope with points to spare, taking the game 69-55. The win was some much needed relief for Toll Gate as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Liam Leahy had an outrageously good game as he scored 20 points along with five assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Will Goodine, who scored ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Toll Gate's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-17. As for Mt. Hope, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
Toll Gate will take on Shea at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Hope, they will square off against Johnston at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Johnston is coming into the game with three straight victories on the road, meaning Mt. Hope will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
