The Elizabeth Minutemen are on the road again on Saturday and play against the Kennedy Knights at 12:00 p.m. on December 23rd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Elizabeth came up short against New Providence and fell 46-38. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Elizabeth in their matchups with New Providence: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Kennedy also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Caldwell by a score of 43-32.
Despite the loss, Kennedy got a solid performance out of My'Shayla Clancy, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Clancy's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Elizabeth's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
