Starr's Mill entered their tilt with Woodward Academy on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the War Eagles. Considering Starr's Mill have won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Woodward Academy from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Kendra Ivaska led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Starr's Mill's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five contests. As for Woodward Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Starr's Mill will square off against Southeast Whitfield County at 2:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Woodward Academy, they will take on Lovett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
