Noble took their match against Messalonskee last week by a conclusive 39-8 score. Junior Matt Beerworth, who rushed for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Noble's success.
Meanwhile, it's always hard to lose, and it's even harder to lose by a single point. Just ask Biddeford, the unfortunate recipient of a 13-14 defeat at the hands of Cony.
Noble's win lifted them to 2-0 while Biddeford's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Noble can add another positive mark to their record or if Biddeford can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Noble's step.
