Even though the Pendleton Heights Arabians scored an imposing 59 points on Thursday, the Lapel Bulldogs still came out on top. Lapel secured a 63-59 W over Pendleton Heights. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lapel.
Lapel was led to victory by Madelyn Poynter and Laniah Wills. Poynter scored 22 points along with five assists, while Wills dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Wills' 16th in a row with at least ten points. Jocelyn Love was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Despite the loss, Pendleton Heights still got an impressive performance from Kaycie Warfel, who scored 37 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Adah Hupfer, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Lapel has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Pendleton Heights, they bumped their record down to 10-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Alexandria-Monroe is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. As for Pendleton Heights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Frankton at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
