Emma Grace Hill made a splash, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Jordan-Matthews back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with more than five strikeouts. This year, Hill has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 2.15 over 29.3 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.522/0.522/0.870 with 10 RBI.
