Orofino has gone a perfect 9-0 against Priest River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Maniacs are taking a road trip to challenge the Spartans at 10:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Orofino has 12 straight victories, Priest River has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Orofino got the win against Kellogg by a conclusive 22-1. The result was nothing new for the Maniacs, who have now won 14 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Priest River's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 19-0 to Grangeville, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Orofino pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Priest River, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
Priest River's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Orofino hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. It's a different story for Priest River, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Orofino's hitters?
Everything went Orofino's way against Priest River in their previous meeting back in March, as Orofino made off with a 16-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Maniacs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
