After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plato, Bourbon was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Tuscumbia Lions. The War Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Bourbon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Tuscumbia, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
