Lakeview came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Hesperia Panthers with a sharp 17-10 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Katelyn Buchner, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and five runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. Cheyenne Peterson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Hesperia, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Lakeview will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
