The Oswego Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 44-27 bruising from Jayhawk Linn. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Oswego has scored all season.
Alex Long and Owen Jackson certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Long scored four points along with nine rebounds, while Jackson scored nine points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jayhawk Linn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryton Spencer, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Spencer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Reed Krull, who scored ten points.
Oswego's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Jayhawk Linn, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
