Friday just wasn't the day for Daniel Boone's offense. They took a  blow against the Sevier County Smoky Bears on Friday, falling  48-0.  Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sevier County to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Cooper Newman, who threw for 305 yards and five  touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. What's more,  Newman racked up 156.3  passer rating, the most he's  had since back in October of 2024.  Bryson Headrick was another key pass catcher, picking up 160 receiving yards and three  TDs.
Daniel Boone's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sevier County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Daniel Boone will host West Ridge  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sevier County, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against David Crockett  at 7:00  p.m.
