After flying high against First Flight last Tuesday, Camden County came back down to earth. The Bruins took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perquimans Pirates on Wednesday. The Bruins' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Camden County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Jones, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Perquimans, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Camden County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-4 loss against First Flight on the 28th. As for Perquimans, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 16-0 win against Bertie on the 28th.
