Given Jacksonville's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Prattville Christian Academy is ranked 271st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jacksonville can attribute much of their success to Sean Herbert, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aaron Nixon, who scored ten points.
Jacksonville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Prattville Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
Jacksonville and Ramsay will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montgomery Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
