Even though The Wisdom Generals have not done well against the Madison Marlins recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Wisdom managed a 14-8 victory over Madison. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wisdom.
Among those leading the charge was Khari Mayeux, who rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown.
Wisdom's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Sterling the next time they take the field. Wisdom will host Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Madison will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
