Tree of Life Christian proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Northside Christian Lions. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on six straight.
Tree of Life Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Northside Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-21, 28-26, 19-25, 23-25, 15-9.
Autumn Sanders paced Tree of Life Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Sanders got some help from Megan Donnally and her 24 assists. Allie Coleman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Tree of Life Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Northside Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-4.
