The First Academy Eagles fell victim to the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell to the Eagles 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, First Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.
Cason Cherry threw for 104 yards on 13 of 26 attempts. Alexander Cichielo was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards.
First Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.
First Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trinity Christian Academy will face off against Bell Creek Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
