The Oak Hill Academy - Red Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Winston-Salem Christian Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Oak Hill Academy - Red has four straight victories, Winston-Salem Christian has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Even though Hargrave Military Academy scored an imposing 69 points on Saturday, Oak Hill Academy - Red still came out on top. Oak Hill Academy - Red snuck past Hargrave Military Academy with a 73-69 win.
Meanwhile, Winston-Salem Christian pushed their score all the way to 58 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parkland. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Monday (57), Winston-Salem Christian still had to take the loss.
Oak Hill Academy - Red pushed their record up to 13-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Winston-Salem Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Oak Hill Academy - Red didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Winston-Salem Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 73-67 victory.
