The Larue County Hawks pushed their score all the way to 63 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to North Hardin. Larue County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Larue County still got an impressive performance from Daniel Allen, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Allen scored a full 34.9% of Larue County's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jagger Mardis, who scored 20 points.
Larue County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Hardin, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Larue County will head out on the road to face off against Caverna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Hardin, they will be playing at home against Fort Knox at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
