King City/Union Star had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past North Andrew 40-8.
King City/Union Star's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 18 points in the first half. Meanwhile, North Andrew couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 18-0 heading into the break. The offense for King City/Union Star continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 22 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving King City/Union Star a 1-0 record and starting North Andrew off at 0-1.
