Frontier Regional won against Mount Greylock Regional last Friday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Red Hawks beat the Taconic Thunder by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-5. The win was nothing new for the Red Hawks as they're now sitting on five straight.
Raine Wonsey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Skyler Steele was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Ashley Taylor also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.
