Josh Takats Turns in Season-Best Effort
Josh Takats produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Perrysburg to the win on Friday. Takats rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 105 yards and a touchdown on perfect 9-for-9 passing. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
Springfield's probably not too fond of Takats given he always seems to get the better of them. When Takats last faced the Blue Devils back in October of 2023, he threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
