Marshall County waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Ohio County Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Marshals, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Marshall County pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Ohio County, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall County will square off against Mt. Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ohio County, they will venture away from home to face off against Breckinridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Tigers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
