The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Twin River in their matchups with Lakeview: they've now lost three in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Twin River lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kirk Hebda. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points. The match was Hebda's third in a row with at least ten points. Paydon Rinkol was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Twin River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Lakeview, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Twin River will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central City at 2:30 p.m. Lakeview won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Scotus at 6:45 p.m. on December 30th. Scotus has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
