Basketball Recap: Cook Inlet Academy Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Ninilchik

On Tuesday, Cook Inlet Academy faced Ninilchik in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Cook Inlet Academy Eagles walked away with a 76-66 win over the Ninilchik Wolverines. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Cook Inlet Academy to victory were Alek McGarry and Ian McGarry. Alek posted 26 points, while Ian earned 25 points. The game was Ian's 21st in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zach Armstrong, who put up six points.

Despite the loss, Ninilchik still got an impressive performance from Kade McCorison, who had 29 points in addition to five assists and five boards.
