The Hawthorne Hornets won the last time they faced the Bradford Tornadoes, and things went their way on Thursday too. Hawthorne blew past Bradford 58-18 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-10.
CJ Ingram was a one-man wrecking crew for Hawthorne as he scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Rollerson, who scored 15 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Hawthorne and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Bradford, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Hawthorne won't have much time to rest: their next match is against P.K. Yonge at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Hopefully P.K. Yonge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Saturday. Bradford will finish 2023 at home by hosting Englewood at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Englewood is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
