Oswaldo Morales Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Saturday, Tomball got the W thanks in part to Oswaldo Morales playing the best football he has all season. Morales rushed for 280 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 133 or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Klein Cain found a leader in Jaelon Dixon as the team took down Magnolia on Friday. Dixon turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 130 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory made it two in a row for Klein Cain and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Dixon and Klein Cain will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Klein Forest at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
