Dundalk is on a three-game streak of home losses, Lansdowne a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Dundalk Owls will take on the Lansdowne Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Wednesday, Dundalk was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-41 to Owings Mills.
Lansdowne suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 60-30 loss at the hands of Milford Mill Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lansdowne has scored all season.
Dundalk has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Lansdowne, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Dundalk strolled past Lansdowne in their previous meeting back in January of 2015 by a score of 63-45. Will Dundalk repeat their success, or does Lansdowne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
