Basketball Recap: Hudson Drops Highest Score of Season Against Clinton

Hudson hadn't done well against Clinton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Hudson Tigers walked away with an 82-75 victory over the Clinton Redwolves. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Hudson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Qwaden Wallace out in front who posted 17 points. Wallace is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Jackson Jones was another key player, putting up 19 points.

The victory got Hudson back to even at 5-5. As for Clinton, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Hudson will challenge Dundee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hudson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Dundee likes a good challenge. As for Clinton, they will face off against Onsted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Onsted will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Clinton surely won't give up without a fight.
