Chagrin Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Robby Mignogna, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mignogna has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Castelluccio, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Orange pushed their score all the way to 55 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The game between Orange and West Geauga wasn't particularly close, with Orange falling 70-55. Orange was down 57-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Chagrin Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Chagrin Falls lost to Orange on the road by a decisive 62-47 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Orange's Ernie Pryor, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 13 rebounds.
